Flight control, relative guidance
The automatic flight conduct is a research topic that has numerous practical applications in the field of ATM. This is even more true in recent years, with from one hand, the concept of 4D trajectory developed in the European SESAR program, and on the other one, the widespread development of UAV.
We explored in recent years topics such as:
- in-line generation of aircraft trajectories
- laws of nonlinear guide design for trajectories monitoring
- hybridization for inertial navigation
- automatic separation of flights by an aircraft relative guidance. The objective is to maintain the separation of aircraft converging to a point of entry of a terminal area (merging and scheduling)
